Film Board Minutes

Meeting Started at: 6:05 P.M.

Minutes: Passed

President: The Festival’s movies this week will start at 9 pm. We need a couple volunteers to work concessions; these will not count towards your requirements.

Vice President: If you have any ideas about the social, you can email Greg.

Secretary: Nothing to report.

Publicity: We need a new slide maker person; the one we have been using is no longer in business. There are issues using the projector in Fisher, so that’s not an option. We could possibly look into getting an LCD projector.

Equipment: Not Present.

Webpage: Website will be updated.

Concessions: Everything should be stocked for the next show, Frank will see if we need more for the weekend.

Treasurer: (Not Present) Report via email.

Advertising: Nothing to report.

Advisor: Nothing to report.

Old business: Steve is still looking into what we have to do for the Dove free showing.

New business: The movies following Big Fish will be our free movies this semester. The following movies were voted in:

Big Fish

Mystic River

Miracle

Cold Mountain – Blockbuster (Pending Return of the King deal)

There was a motion for the student organization to rent our old popcorn and cotton candy machines under the supervision of Lisa for Spring Fling. The motion was seconded and passed.
