Film Board Minutes

Meeting Started at: 6:05 P.M.

Minutes: Passed

President: The University will be having a surplus, if you are interested. Just a reminder the social is this Sunday at 6 pm. If you need a ride, someone will pick you up in the parking lot near the MUB.

Vice President: Sign up sheet’s going around, let’s try and fill it up. Take a look at the requirements, they’ve been updated.

Secretary: List is updated and I plan on keeping a copy on the bulletin board in the Filmboard office.

Treasurer: Wayne would like to thank everyone for the dedicated work they’re doing for the free movies, making it a real success. The sheet claimed we only sold $333.75 in concessions, but Wayne counted $554. Also, if anyone picked up a check for the $2,000 USG owes us, please let Wayne know.

Publicity: Not present, will be taken care of.

Equipment Supervisor: The base came in, but there was a problem with the doors. Craig will look into it. The oil will be getting hooked up soon, so it won’t be as messy. The preview, sponsored by Verizon, will be the Wednesday after Thanksgiving at 8, December 3^rd. We will be showing The Last Samurai.

Web page: Not updated yet, can’t logon. Paul will figure something out.

Advertising: New slides this week.

Concessions: We have a couple of boxes of oil for the popcorn machine.

Advisor: Nothing to report.

Old business: None

New business: If something is found at a show, give it to the projectionist and they can bring it to Public Safety, especially if it’s an ID or a wallet. Otherwise if its an article of clothing, just leave it in the box outside the main office in Fisher.
