Film Board Minutes

Date: January 11^th, 2005

Meeting Started at: 6:05 P.M.

Members Absent: Attendance wasn’t taken, everyone gets a freebie.

Minutes: Passed

President: Intramural sign ups are now available.

Vice President: 2 new potential members were at the meeting to observe

Secretary: Nothing to report.

Treasurer: $892.80 was owed to Coca Cola and $3266 to Swank.

Publicity: Does not know how to make table tents/flyers, will try to complete it this week.

Equipment Supervisor: Nothing to report.

Web page: Paul will update on the password so we can access the page.

Advertising: Still working on possibly making slides.

Concessions: Good to go.

Advisor: Both advisors thanked us for the Christmas gift. The suggestion of an Audit Committee was brought forth. It was also suggested that a computer upgrade be considered for the office.

Old business: Officer payment was brought up. Currently, the amount to be paid is being investigated. A vote was taken for the Winter Carnival movie. The top three movies were: Office Space (13), Napoleon Dynamite (6), and Ice Age (5). No progress was made in finding an LCD projector.

New business: The Student Involvement Fair will be on January 27 (7-10PM). Colin, William Murphy and Matt Bengry agreed to set-up a booth. Next week we will vote on movies, it was asked that everyone please read the summaries before attending the meeting.
